In this workshop we will explore the meanings and mysteries of happiness.

Is it possible to acquire more of it?

If so, will our new happiness endure, or is the whole thing just a fad?

The market is saturated with newspaper and magazine articles, TV documentaries and books on the subject.

The latest is “Harrogate is home to the happiest people in Britain” according to a study by the property website Rightmove.

It is the 3rd year running that Harrogate has been named as the happiest place in Britain. So why are these people happier than say folk living in Newcastle and elsewhere?

Is it possible to become happier than those living in Harrogate?

To help us answer this question we will consider 10 thought provoking factors, underpinned by the latest research, to see if it really is possible to become happier.
