These are challenging times. Life can trip you up anytime it fancies, making you feel sad, low and depressed.
But don’t panic! Feeling low is not necessarily a bad thing.
You can’t feel joy if you’ve never felt sorrow. You wouldn’t be human if you didn’t experience a range of emotions.
This participative workshop gives the low-down on mood. It is based on Shakespeare’s Hamlet, Act 2, scene 2 – “There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.”
Shakespeare knew that it is not what happens to you, it’s how you interpret it. So, we are going to peek at how you interpret a situation, your thoughts and emotions. Then you can become aware of your negative behaviour patterns and change them – and do more of the things that make you feel happy!
Presentation based on Dr Jessamy Hibberd & Jo Usmar’s “This Book will Make You Happy”
