Sometimes life can be stressful and distressing.

If you would like to learn a simple way to reduce your levels of stress and distress then this short introduction to Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) or “Tapping” might be just what you need.

EFT is a deceptively simple process that literally taps into the body’s own soothing response to reduce the power of unpleasant emotions.

In this brief introduction Andy Hunt (AAMET Accredited Master EFT Trainer) will show you have to use this technique to reduce the stress and distress you feel in everyday life.

He will also demonstrate a gentle method to change stressful feelings into something more useful and resourceful.

By the end of this presentation you will have a simple effective process at your fingertips to deal with the simple stresses and distresses of everyday life.

You don’t need any previous experience of EFT to attend.

Anxiety is a very common state that most of us experience on a daily basis. It is fuelled by our increasingly busy lifestyles, the media, social media, peer pressures and more.

Anxiety presents with different symptoms to different people but all these symptoms have one thing in common – they feel unpleasant. Anxiety also stops one from experiencing life to the full and being present in life.

The good news is that with awareness of anxiety, we can do many things to decrease those unpleasant feelings that anxiety brings. In doing so, we can improve our quality of life and feel happier.

In this presentation, we will learn about what exactly is anxiety, why we have it, how to recognise it and the implications of it. We will also explore of some of the various methods that can be used to reduce anxiety and thus help us enjoy our lives more.

The presentation will involve some practical exercises so bring along some examples of what causes you to feel anxious.

Living in today’s world can be tough on us, both emotionally and physically.

Why then do we we feel the need to be so tough on ourselves too?

When we really take time to look at how we treat ourselves we’ll usually find that we’re our own worst enemy and critic.

We often don’t feel that it’s socially acceptable to big ourselves up or blow our own trumpets so to speak, this would be frowned upon and seen as big headed, right?

In this presentation we’ll look at the effects of stifling that self love on our day to day lives. Let’s turn it all around, let’s not be big headed or arrogant but let’s just explore how we can change our own world by being a little kinder to ourselves, showing ourselves the same compassion that we so freely give to others.

Presentation: Change For Healthy Eating

We know that a healthy diet is a good thing but what does one really look like and how do we leave our bad habits behind?

With a bit of will-power, most of us can modify our behaviour in the short term – think New Year Resolutions, diets and gym membership. Jackie explores the keys to lasting change so you can enjoy a long, healthy and happy life by eating well.

Jackie works in business and nutrition coaching. A scientist by background, she also competed in archery at international level for 21 years and this started her passion for nutrition. She loves to see people’s lives transformed when they learn to eat well.
