Presentation: How To Stop Shoulding On Yourself

Shoulds

Are you shoulding on yourself?

Are you telling yourself all day, every day, what you should be doing (and feeling bad about what you haven’t done?

Sometimes we have so many ‘shoulds’ it’s difficult to know what we want.

A should is a rule you ‘should’ live up to, a demand you ‘should’ meet, an expectation of how you ‘should’ behave.

  • I should lose weight
  • I should be more assertive
  • I should be more patient
  • I should …

Shoulds are often intended to be motivating, to help us do what we want or what is best for us. In theory our ‘shoulds’ should help us get things done.

But, you may have noticed that even though ‘shoulds’ are supposed to be motivating, what you should do often doesn’t get done!

In this ChangeCamp presentation Andy Hunt will explain three reasons why shoulds don’t work and demonstrate a simple EFT/’tapping’ method to help find and dissolve them.

A little bit of EFT/Tapping experience would be helpful but it’s not essential.

Presentation: Rapid Pain Elimination

Pain reliefPain Victims Needed!

In this workshop we will explore the relationship of the power of the mind on the body.

You will learn how the body stores pain and how we can work with our unconscious mind to get agreement and completely erase the old pain completely.

I also intend to demonstrate (with a willing participant) how to remove pain permanently which can be done sometimes remarkably in as a little as five minutes.

Typically the process rarely takes more than 20 minutes. So come along, have fun, feel energy shift, and watch how pain can be removed simply, safely and effectively.

If spare time allows I will show you how to remove emotional pain too with a similar method.

Look forward to seeing you on this highly interactive workshop.

It is important to us to be able to manage our own well-being.

It enables us to function effectively and be more resilient when we need to be.

Sometimes, through external pressures we omit to use techniques to look after ourselves and even the basics of being kind to oneself can be overlooked.

You may have noticed saying things to yourself when you are busy or under pressure that you would never say to someone else. Have you ever noticed the tone your internal voice has when
you are being critical to yourself? Why would you treat yourself differently to others? This is something that we will explore.

During this session techniques will be used from EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), Mindfulness and NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) through demonstration and practice to offer some alternative ways of managing self care and being kind to yourself.

No previous experience is necessary as full explanations and demonstration will be carried out.

Presentation: Introduction To Mindfulness

Mindful

What is mindfulness?

What are the benefits of practising mindfulness?

In this introduction we will explore how we can engage in mindfulness in every day life to help us savour and enjoy our lives

We’ll look at self awareness and recognition of our thought processes, enabling realisation of when we’re slipping into the past or future and how to return ourselves to the present.

We’ll also look at our daily routine and explore how our minds slip into overdrive with all the tasks we need to do, places we need to be etc. and see how mindfulness practice can fit into our daily lives.

And we will work on being kinder and more compassionate to ourselves from a mindfulness point of view.
