Presentation: Drawing Out The Child In You

Child drawingThis presentation is all about exploring your personality through simple drawing and writing exercises.

Using Star-Wave Drawing, a simple technique developed by an educational psychologist and family therapist you can draw out the child in you and explore what you learn through the lens of Transactional Analysis (a social psychology exploring relationship interactions).

By the end of the session you will know more about why daily or long term relationships work the way they do.

If you are interested in learning more about yourself and your relationships then all you will need to do is bring along your favourite pen.

No artistic ability is required.

Presentation: Building Boundaries By Saying No Nicely

BoundariesGood fences make good neighbours, good boundaries build good relationships

Mediators often describe themselves as breaking down walls and building bridges. So why do I think boundaries are important?

One of the most common causes of conflict is unclear boundaries or where someone has crossed a boundary.

Broken promises or unfulfilled expectations are examples of where a line has been crossed, knowingly or unknowingly. Many of these situations would not have occurred if people had “said no nicely early” in the relationship.

This practical session helps you explore your boundaries. Learn about how to set and communicate expectations clearly and how to handle yourself when boundaries are crossed or expectations are not met.

The Listening Space

Listening SpaceThis experiential session will introduce you to The Listening Space – a structured process in which one person facilitates another to explore an issue that is on their mind, using a combination of repeating back their words and a specific set of Clean questions. This could be anything from a problem they would like to gain clarity on to a creative idea they want to develop.

Clean questions can be used to focus on the metaphors that people use to express themselves. When this happens people experience being listened to at a very deep level and can be facilitated to make transformative and long-lasting changes.

Tapping Into And With Intention

Intention TappingEFT or Tapping is well known is a powerful way to relieve emotional problems and limiting beliefs.

‘Intention Tapping’, created by Australian psychologist and tapper Steve Wells, is a very different way of using tapping to work with the challenges (aka problems) in our lives.

This process does not focus on our problems themselves, but our emotional attachments to those problems that keep us stuck. Ironically, our emotional investment in the things we want to overcome keep them in place.

The tapping approach that Steve has developed simply and elegantly lets us release those attachments and the blocks soften and change.

It’s fast, it’s simple and it allows your unconscious mind to do most of the work.

In this presentation Andy Hunt will demonstrate the basics of Intention Tapping and how you can use it to let go of emotional baggage you now longer need to carry.
